Positive: Cutest hotel with a great view. Nice restaurant and bar right next door!

Negative: Fine for us but not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Steep hills and lot of stairs if you want to walk.

Positive: What a lovely spot up the hill from the nicest part of town. Chase and Lyndsey -- the owners -- were delightful and helpful, and our accommodations were everything we had hoped for. We stayed just one night after sailing around BVI, and found the location to be very walkable from the more developed part of town where there were plenty of restaurants. Several other reviewers noted that Green Iguana is quite a bit higher (elevation) than the town. This is true. It's about a ten minute walk from the main shopping and eating area up a hill and then further up the 99 Stairs to the Green Iguana. It's definitely a climb. But we did the climb four or five times in the 24-ish hours we were in Charlotte Amalie without any trouble (we and our friends are in our late 50's and early 60's). The views are spectacular and worth it.

Negative: Chase and Lyndsey bought the hotel from the prior owner just one week before we arrived and were eagerly looking to make small improvements wherever possible. The truth is, there's not much to do. We noticed some very minor things (and shared them), and we could see how proud Chase and Lyndsey are to address these small matters.

Positive: The owner was wonderful and very attentive to all our inquiries. Great view. Clean friendly and updated.

Negative: Nothing really. It is a hot hike to get up to the hotel from town but there are typically plenty of taxis!

Positive: This is a small, boutique, family owned hotel. The owners, Chase and Lyndsey communicated well prior to our arrival and were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with wonderful recommendations. The room was extremely clean, had a small kitchen and also had an incredible view. The outside garden and pool were also beautiful and had an exceptional view as well. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning next year. Thank you Chase and Lyndsey!😀
