Positive: My stay at Bluebeard’s Castle Resort in St. Thomas was an unforgettable experience that perfectly blended relaxation, scenic beauty, and a touch of island history. Perched on a hill overlooking Charlotte Amalie, (the hillside location means a bit of walking (and some steep areas), the resort offers breathtaking panoramic views of the harbor that are especially stunning at sunrise and sunset.

Positive: The property location is central to evrything if you have a car it was so easy to get around island and the view of the sunset from the property was beautiful

Negative: The staff and reception were very unhelpful and rude when we wanted to book a trip to see the turtles . The concierge organizing trips was on a long break and we couldn’t book it through them . A lot of the time the reception only had an attitude and we’re not as friendly or helpful with any recommendations. We felt we had to Google everything . Also when we first checked into our rooms we found hair in booth our bed covers and theirs not cleaning service that comes daily to make the room so the value for what we paid for a full hotel service was not their . The extra little care or feeling like we are at home was not felt we truly slept in the hotel and left in the day time for most of the trip but it was not as cozy or comfortable atmosphere

Positive: We booked only a few hours before we showed up. Let us check in early. The room we were given was much nicer than the room we booked! We had a kitchen, living room, large bedroom, walk in closet, and sizeable bathroom. Everything was clean. The bed was a bit firm but comfortable. Bedroom had a fan and air conditioner. We did not use the pool or restaurant but the views were fantastic. Perfect for our short weekend stay.

Negative: Some of the outdoor areas and walkways were weathered and could use more upkeep.
