Positive: Spa staff were lovely and very helpful. Spa rooms gorgeous and fantastic massage.

Negative: Our bedroom was slightly dated. Reception staff could have been friendlier.

Positive: The room, the spa, the hotel was absolutely perfect. All the staff very friendly. One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. Loved how welcome and dog friendly it was.

Negative: The restaurant unfortunately didn’t match the rest of the stay. To start with we waited over 1 hour and 10 minutes for our mains to come out after starters, when it did come out my partners fish and chips had tomato sauce under the fish which we’re not entirely convinced it was a clean plate as there was no mention of tomato sauce on the menu and she doesn’t particularly like tomato sauce, also it says it comes with minted mushy peas but it was just plain peas. Then into breakfast where neither of us got what we ordered, my partner being pregnant wanted a well done egg that was flipped and an under cooked egg came out. I then found a bit of twig from a bush on my plate (definitely not off a tomato vine) we could’ve just been very unlucky with our service because the rest of the stay was perfect.

Positive: The staff was very friendly.

Negative: The first day breakfast was quit poor. Scrambled egg was just worm beans cold. Not nice at all. Staff that morning was useless as event didn’t know what’s grounded coffee. The second day was absolutely different. Can’t Complain at all.

Positive: The staff are definitely one of this hotel's greatest assets....made us and our dogs feel so relaxed and at home. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The spa was a wonderfully relaxing experience and my husband loved the golf shop. Food and staff in the restaurant were both excellent, and reception had exceptional staff too. We've booked to come back!

Negative: I can honestly say there was nothing we didn't like.
