Positive: Well appointed Cottage , Good cooking facilities lots of nice touches ie Books, games and dvd's Good lighting through out and a great hot shower. Friendly helpful hosts. Good parking Stunning view of Arran

Negative: No firelighters or paper logs available. Both kindling and log basket empty on arrival. Wi-Fi was very poor. ( Host did try to help but it either dropped out completely or the speed was so slow it made tv buffer and using internet difficult)

Negative: We arrived at twilight on an extremely cold day 3rd of Jan , below zero, the cottage was cold. There was no kindling or logs in the cottage and no firelighters or paper logs as advertised in the welcome brochure in the house. The kindling and wood was outside for us to find in the dark and was so damp it was pointless. ( ps we have had a wood burner for over 25 yrs and we know how to light one.) The Duvet was like a handkerchief 4.5 tog not nearly warm enough for the time of year. The Wi-Fi was useless trying to even browse was difficult and the smart tv buffered constantly day and night.
