Positive: This hostel is the loveliest hostel I have ever stayed in! We made the booking 3 minutes before walking in as it had the best reviews, and we didn’t have to wait at all despite the last minute booking - we were given cold towels when we walked in and the staff were so welcoming. Julius the owner explained everything about the hostel including that you can help yourself to snacks and that they do social events, such as going out for dinner together and a pre-party for the full moon party where body paint was provided. This was such a change from other hostels we’ve been in where we have been left to figure out what’s going on ourselves. The social events are such a great way to meet people, and they’re not just centred around drinking games like most other hostels - it felt like a proper backpacker hostel and everyone was there to meet other people. The rooms are great and very clean and secure too. In the morning: waffles, coffee and fruit are laid out for guests to help themselves and they were delicious - it was great to chat to Julius and other people at the hostel while enjoying the waffles, felt like a family breakfast! To top it all off, when we were leaving to get the ferry in a taxi organised by P1, we got a call saying we’d left a Kindle in the room. Julius got on a bike straight away to meet us at the pier to drop it off to us - a half an hour drive away! - it was just beyond lovely and we couldn’t believe it! It was so amazing to stay at a hostel run by people who clearly love their job so much, and have gone above and beyond to make sure everyone is looked after and included. Thank you Julius and the team for everything!

Negative: Thin mattress in the beds, but mattresses are hard everywhere anyway, and the place makes up for it by the bun design

Positive: Ideally located hostel with a nice vibe. We had a spacious and clean double room, the manager, Julius was really helpful throughout our stay including when we had an issue with a taxi driver ordered through the hostel. He fixed it immediately and made sure everything was ok. Definitely recommend!

Positive: The owner Julius and the programs are really good and not business oriented. The breakfast is included and its really nice, all day free coffe, fruits, earplugs, water etc. much better than expencted!

Negative: Talking doorlock, but nothing serious issues
