Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great location, smooth booking and checkin.

Negative: Sofa not very comfortable, chair in lounge worn, didn't really like the cow hide rug in the lounge. Bed a little too soft for us, only access on one side. Toilet in en-suite has a leak at the base and a bit smelly, toilet brush also head fell off and the holder was full of yucky liquid. Overall there was a damp cold feeling to the building. Could have had a dishwasher or at least a tea towel and cloth/sponge. An info pack for the local area, services and particular quirks of the house. Wifi and TV were very poor.

Positive: The location by the river is lovely and quiet, nice cosy space for 1, max 2 people. Comfy bed.

Negative: The boiler was clicking repeatedly on arrival, we contacted the hosts who got an engineer to fix it but they could only come on the third morning so had to play with the boiler in between. We didn’t get an update it was fixed, so just hoped it would be, All resolved and no further issues. Some feedback to improve on, there’s a Nespresso machine that takes the small coffee pods, but no pods so would be nice if some were provided. No drawers in bedroom The clock wasn’t working in the kitchen No tea towels No welcome pack/ check out instructions in the accomm.
