Positive: The Hosts were very welcoming and had put a lovely hamper of goodies in the lodge. The lodge is decorated and furnished nicely and the owners have aimed to recycle and reuse furniture where possible. There are some walks across the fields at the back of the cottage. Dorchester is easy to get to and there are a few pubs within a few miles.

Positive: Loved the decor , it was very comfortable and had everything we wanted. Good walks for the dogs ,Cerne Abbas just down the road .

Positive: The owner has really thought through how to use the space, decorated it in an interesting and unique way with period/restored furniture (60/70s ...), good decoration all round. It is also practical with all the things you need in terms of equipment. We loved the location in the Cerne valley with the river/stream close by. There is a path just behind the property that runs both ways along the valley - definitely worth a stroll.

Positive: Staying at the Coach House for one week was a wonderful experience. Chris welcomed us with a very generous welcome hamper. The newly renovated flat offers everything you need for a relaxing stay in Dorset's lovely countryside. Good beds, fully equipped kitchen, even Alexa was there. We will come back and tell our friends about this amazing cottage. Thank you for everything, Chris.

Positive: Everything had been carefully prepared for our arrival and the host was extremely friendly and proactive in showing us around. The place is full of character and has been very stylishly kitted out and decorated by someone with an eye for beauty. The welcome hamper certainly lived up to its name and the only pity was that we were there for just two nights. Highly recommended!

Negative: Nothing! Loved it all… Wish we’d been there for longer.
