Positive: 3 bedrooms, 1 with en-suite, all comfortable beds plenty of sockets for charging etc. Good bathroom with nice shower. Downstairs the living room was cosy with a massive TV that also had Amazon Prime so we were able to watch the Grand Tour! The kitchen was large with a nice dining table and chairs. Plenty of fridge and freezer space, kettle of course, and all the utensils for your own cooking if you want. With dishwasher. House was very warm, and east to adjust the heating. Wifi was perfect Property is easy to find, the owner emails you a code a few days before your visit and you use that on the door and you are in the house. So nice easy access. The house is in a very good location - its 15 mins walk to the centre, and you have 3 route options! 1) come out the house turn left and walk along the river, 2) come out the house turn right, under the tunnel and through the museum gardens, 3) come out the house turn right then left on to St Mary's street and down the main road to town past the restaurants. You can also park you car for free with the owners resident permit. But additional cars would have to find somewhere else to park - there is a nearby car park - St Marys but its £20 per day. So try and come in one car!

Positive: Location was superb - a quiet area only 5 minutes from the city centre. House was warm and cosy even though outside was freezing and it had al the equipment we needed to cook dinner one evening. Beds were super comfy - best two nights sleep I’ve had in a long time!

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: A fabulous two night winter break in a beautiful house and a great city - will definitely book again!

Positive: Beautiful house in convenient area with parking for 1 vehicle. 10 mins walk to town. Nice quiet location. House was well equipped

Negative: Nothing it was perfect. Would have been useful to have had a dressing table in a couple of the bedrooms when drying your hair as had to sit on the floor or stand at a mirror to do this. Could have done with some oven gloves too.

Summary: Loved it. We had a good time. We played board games in the evenings when we got in.

Positive: The house was fantastic. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Great for families. Everything you could need was available. I highly recommend Sycamore House and we will definitely return.

Positive: Fabulous location & house. We were able to park our car in the street, which was a bonus, being so close to the city. This house is great, very spacious, clean & comfortable and well laid out. We were a family of 6 - 2 adults & 4 kids and we were very comfortable during our stay. This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. Everything about our stay was very welcoming and professional, clean and tidy. I can highly recommend.

Negative: Not being familiar with the washing machine, it was hard to work out if it was a washer/dryer or just a washing machine, so didn't end up using it. I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue if you were familiar with the appliance.

Summary: Fantastic! Great spot & home - highly recommend this place.
