Negative: To be honest, I am struggling to think of anything which is relevant and within the remit of the hosts.

Positive: Fabulous barn converted cottage with excellent attention to detail for all fixtures and fittings. Great location for beach access within walking distance and stunning surrounding area for walks in general. Would highly recommend this property to others for its location and character. The cafe at Widemouth beach serves excellent variety of food and drinks. We also ate at Widemouth Manor Hotel which is 2 mins from the property. The food was excellent quality and great service. Bude was a 10 mins drive and as it was bank holiday weekend and the 200th anniversary if the RNLI there was a free fireworks display on bank holiday Monday which rounded off a great weekend of activities in the town. Summerleaze beach was great fun for body boarding and sandcastle building and with the sea pool right next to it, it was a great experience. We didn’t actually meet the hosts during our stay but that just means we had everything we needed and didn’t need to call upon them for assistance. However all communication prior to our stay was helpful and nothing was a problem. We will be back!

Positive: The most stunning property. A perfectly thought out barn restoration which has been equipped to the absolute highest standards. We loved every minute of our stay. Black Rock beach is a stroll through the fields away and is dog friendly with an amazing café and fantastic surf. Just the most wonderful location and the most beautiful property. Negative: If I had to find a niggle the headboard squeaks - a lot 😂 But honestly one of the loveliest properties I have stayed in!

Positive: A lovely holiday home, beautiful and comfortable throughout. Outside shower and drying racks for wetsuits and beach wear an excellent extra! Shower was warm too, great for washing off the sand rather than walking it through the house! Peaceful location, lovely little walk down to Widemouth Bay, about 1 km, great for a morning walk and swim.

Negative: Could have done with some cupboard space in the kitchen for non-fridge food, we had to keep it on the work surface. Not a disaster, but not ideal.

Positive: This is such a beautifully renovated property to stay at and exceptional quirky details in the fixtures and fittings. All appliances and furniture were high end and quality too, all well equipment to cook and prep food which made the stay nice. Great location with Bude just a couple of miles away and Widemouth Bay and the Beach House our fav restaurant just round the corner too and walking distance. Great to explore further into Cornwall too. The owners were so lovely and welcoming too, we will be back!

Positive: Fantastic location only 15min walk through paths and fields to widemouth bay. Accommodation was lovely and clean with everything you needed including outdoor shower for when we got back from bodyboarding or if the dogs were mucky. Super little spot.
