Trecane is a large 4 bedroom house with amazing sea views that sleeps up to 10 people. Situated directly opposite Widemouth Bay Beach, North Cornwall which offers attractions for all ages. This spacious self-catering holiday home has comfortable living spaces, a small fenced garden to front and rear, ample parking for up to 5 cars and is only a stone's throw from the beach. You can enjoy wonderful sunsets, beach activities and good food all in walking distance. Trecane is a great place to unwind and relax. There are pubs within walking distance and a café which serves excellent breakfasts and lunch, this is situated in the beach car park opposite the house. Bude is a short drive away, it's also a lovely walk. Excellent for surf lessons, bodyboarding, coasting, coastal walking and sunset watching. It is a good base to visit, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow and Newquay. It is also a short drive to Cloverly. Trecane is suitable for all age groups. We will except one well-behaved dog.

Summary: Such a great location opposite the beach and a super well equipped house. The owner was so helpful with answering questions about best dog walking beaches and also tips on best restaurants etc. Couldn’t fault our stay.

Summary: The entire process of renting an sating at this property was exceptional. Jackie couldn't have been more helpful and the house is perfectly situated next to a surf shop where we hired boards and wetsuits. The house is well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend this property as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Our family was relieved to be able to stay at this great place for half term in between lockdowns in 2020. The house is spacious and right across the road from the beach, although there is a car park between it and you. Jackie responded to a minor issue straight away by email (no phone signal there) and although the weather was against us pretty much all week, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We were a family of 9 and had the most amazing holiday at this house. The location really couldn't be any better. You can be on the beach in less than a minute. So much easier than having to fill a car with beach items. On a rainy day, there was plenty of room for us all to relax in the comfort of the lounge and do a bit of storm watching. The house is equipped with everything that you need and Jackie was quick to respond to a minor issue. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and we also made use of the indoor pool in Bude and also the sea pool which was great for paddleboarding. We are missing our sea view from this amazing property and hope to return again in the near future. Highly recommend this house!
