Positive: It's important to note that this property is located just seconds away from Oyafuko street. Oyafuko street is famous for live houses, venues, clubs, bars, and restaurants. The action continues until early the next morning, especially on a weekend. It's proximity to Oyafuko is one of it's best features. But, there's more... As a musician, I had instruments and equipment to carry to a live house right around the corner. So, for me this location is perfect. I can sleep just about anywhere... this is an upgrade compared to places I've slept in the Oyafuko area of Kita-Tenjin. My expectations were more than met. It was spotless and clean. Towels, sheets, pillows, seemed new. The bed nice and firm. Everything was in working order. The host knew I couldn't speak Japanese. And, to my surprise all the detailed information; how to use the air conditioner and remote, in case of emergency where to call, wifi connection, etc. was in English and organized in a notebook. I didn't use the kitchenette. But, it had a newer IH stove top, etc. All appliances were newer. I was able to take advantage of some booking.com discounts. So, the price was just about right. At the regular price, I would consider other places, depends. But, for the location, cleanliness, convenience and price this was the perfect place at the right time.

Negative: I didn't like the security cameras in the hallway entering the main floor, going toward the elevator. Entering the property, once inside, there's another security camera inside the room. That said, the security camera inside the room was only pointing toward the door, catching you as you enter and exit the property. Owner should know entry / exit can be tracked with use of the key code entry pad. Why a security camera inside the room? I don't like it! I think it's poor taste. Leave the security cameras outside. Anywhere, but, not inside the room. Bad decision.... Despite the fact that this is a perfect place for someone like me to stay after a gig, the security camera inside the room is enough for me to not book this place again in the future. This is too bad... Everyone has there own threshold for privacy. That's way beyond mine. If you don't mind, don't worry....
