Positive: Loved our stay here! When no we arrived we booked for 1 night and the lovely, charming owner said “most people stay 2-3… we stayed for three. The bed is so comfy and our room had a great view of the lake. The lake is great for a dip after a hot day exploring.

Summary: Yes. You should stay here!

Positive: The owner/manager Umberto was so kind and helpful. We were able to organise all our shuttles and tours with him. Great central but quiet location on the lake, next to local swimming spot. Kitchen and filtered water supplied. Nice and close to Tikal so you don’t have to wake up as early as those coming from Flores. Good aircon, had excellent sleeps despite the heatwave.
