Our Lake Of The Pines Cabin is a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin perfectly located a quick 2-minute drive from Purgatory Resort, 30 minutes to Silverton, and 30 minutes to downtown Durango, this cozy retreat offers the best of both worlds: the peaceful serenity of the mountains and convenient access to two vibrant mountain towns. Step out onto the spacious front deck, where you'll be treated to the peacefulness of the San Juan Mountains — an idyllic setting to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine at sunset. The deck features a fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows, stargazing, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
The open floor plan contains the living room, dining area, and kitchen, and the large wood burning fireplace will be the central gathering place on a cold winter night to cozy up to watch a movie, read a good book, or just enjoy being together. For those interested in friendly competitions, there is a separate game room complete with a bumper pool and ping pong. The bumper pool can be converted into a puzzle/ board game table. The home is equipped with high-speed Starlink Internet, which is perfect for working from home or streaming your favorite movie!

Note: This home does not have Air Conditioning. Most homes do come equipped with box and ceiling fans.
A friendly reminder before you book your stay, is to remember we are trusted to manage independent and family-owned homes. We simply ask that you treat these homes and properties with the same respect that you would expect one to treat yours. Due to a recent uptick in unauthorized guest, pets and gatherings. We are implementing a strict "one strike" policy for any guest that are found having any unauthorized gatherings, pets or guest with them in the home. Failure to disclose any of the stated above will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund being issued for unused nights.

Cancellation Policy:
If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival will receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. Between (29) days and fifteen (15) days before arrival, guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation amount. (14) days or less to arrival, no refunds given.
For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee Cancellations made between thirty one (31) days in advance of your arrival and (59) days will receive a 50% refund.
Trip insurance is available for purchase and is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Summary: Wow, what a trip! Durango delivered with some incredible snowfall, and this house made our vacation truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, including a fun game room, a well-stocked kitchen for making hot cocoa, a fireplace for warming up, comfortable beds. After a day of skiing in the epic powder, it was so nice to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing space. The location was also perfect, close to Purgatory. We can't wait to come back!!!!! Highly highly recommend this home!

Summary: We had four perfect days in a very beautiful mountain home. Just a mile from Purgatory. They're not kidding when they say you need four-wheel-drive, but lucky for us, the weather was warm and the snow was workable. The home itself was just perfect for our group. Very very clean and well appointed. Thank you so much for sharing your little bit of paradise with us. I would highly recommend this home to others.

Summary: This cabin nestled in the trees was the perfect home for us during our visit. Nice deck for relaxing outside. Well equipped with dishes and cooking essentials. The tiny oven prevented us from cooking what we had planned but we made do. There were plenty of towels and blankets, and housekeeping had done a great job of cleaning on our arrival. The game room was a fun bonus. The management team responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely rent again.

Summary: Our house was perfect in every way. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and appliances were to die for. The house was decorated perfectly so you really fekt like you were in the mtns,yet so homey and comfortable. Our bed was super comfortable and the views from our deck off the bedroom were absolutely amazing every day. Sitting on the wraparound deck off the dining room was so peaceful morning,, noon and night. Again the views were breathtaking. LOVED THUS HOUSE AND WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE.
