Summary: A delightful cottage in a charming village on Islay, with a swimming beach yards from the door, an excellent hotel across the road, and some of the finest whisky distilleries within easy reach. We particularly enjoyed Kilchoman, Caol Ila, and Ardnahoe.

Summary: As others have said the house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We really liked Port Charlotte and this house is in a great position with a great view from the sitting room.and the kitchen sink! It is directly opposite the Port Charlotte Hotel, which serves good meals, has live music twice a week and much to his delight, allowed the musical member of our party to use their piano. The weather was very kind to us and it was so easy to go for a quick dip in the sea. All in all we couldn't have been happier.

Summary: The cottage was just perfect for a family group with grown children and their partners. The kitchen/ dinning area and living room provided great places to gather and catch-up. Port Charlotte is the ideal location with its picturesque scenery and hotels. We had a great time.

Summary: We had a great stay in super accommodation - well located, easy to find and beautifully spacious. Everything we could have required was there, and when we had issues working the TV - David and Susan were very prompt and patient in explaining things! Generous “welcome “ taste of local whisky was a much appreciated touch !
