Positive: If you want a private vacation with your family or friends, then Sorocada is a great place for that. The place is located at the very top of the island by the lighthouse, which you can reach by walking, next to the house there is a seafood family restaurant with a wonderful view. In the morning you wake up to the sound of roosters and hens from the top of the mountain, some cats walk in the garden, but this is real Greece! Down on the road, only visitors to the lighthouse and a few locals pass by. The territory of the house is very large, the household has everything you need for life. We cooked dinner there for 12 people! The large table outside is very nice for that. On the other side of the house there is a terrace with a wonderful view. You have complete privacy there, the house is closed with two gates from all sides. The pool with chairs and shades is a real attraction. In hot weather, there is a nice breeze at the top of the island and it is very nice to sunbathe there. You must have a rented car or ATV to stay there, because the place is quite isolated. But since the island is so small, it was not a problem for us. The owners of the house are really nice and lovely people who will help make your vacation even better!

Positive: The villa is off the beaten track. A good seafood restaurant just a stones throw down the road with the islands best view of the sunset. Otherwise only peace and quiet. The villa itself was beautiful. We spent many hours lounging by the pool. Outside spaces very comfortable and a fantastic view of the caldera and Fira from the terrace. Having dinner at the big table outside was really nice. The hosts are very nice people, eager to help when needed.
