Summary: I loved the location and the host Kelly was very accommodating. It was out of the main tourist area so it was nice and quite most days comparatively to Oia or Fira. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Great stay overall!

Summary: Akrotiri is a great place to stay on Santorini if you wish to be in a quiet location that is still near to many beaches, great restaurants, alternative sunset-watching spots and the prehistoric village. We were very happy to stay in this part of the island. We enjoyed the apartment, and Kely was a gracious host. She was very thoughtful to bring us eggs and fruit from the garden. She also offered to wash our laundry as we were there for 2 weeks. The apartment had everything it needed including air conditioning (it was August). It's on the edge of town, in a very convenient location, on the main road. As the apartment is on the upper floor, the terrace give you a beautiful view, both of the town, as well as the hills down to the sea. It's a lovely spot for a coffee in the morning. A bonus was the cute and friendly cats who visited us in the evenings.
