At Akrotiri in a beautiful spot with amazing views of the volcano and the caldera of is situated the beautiful 5 bedroom villa, Michaela Residence.
As you enter from the main door to the living area the beauty reveals in front of your eyes. Colorful paintings, art objects, elegant furnishing, painted walls, wooden ceiling, fire place and stunning views, all in harmony that give the villa a very warm and playful character. You enjoy every moment being in this welcoming environment.
There is also a dining area for 10 persons under a beautiful chandelier.
The living area is equipped with high definition satellite TV, home theater, dvd player, hi fi, lap top computer, wi fi and telephone line open to local calls.
On the same floor a corridor leads to the fully equipped kitchen that has a cozy dining corner. The kitchen walls are painted by a celebrity Greek artist.
On this floor you can find the Lady’s bedroom. It has a romantic wooden double bed, with the famous painting of the red bicycle hanged above it, a vanity dressing area that can hold all the clothes of a lady and a big handcrafted mirror. The bedroom is served from a red bathroom with shower.
On the upper floor is the Master’s bedroom with wooden floor, vaulted ceiling and a massive king size bed. You could even watch the sea from your bed through the window in front of you. All the above combined with art objects, paintings and an art deco arm chair create an atmospheric theater setting in this bedroom.
A spacious dressing area is behind the bed. The bedroom is equipped with a big High definition TV, home theater, DVD player
Next to the Master’s bedroom is the Mezzanine bedroom. That is a bedroom with a white iron double bed exiting to a large terrace with panoramic views. Next to the bed a wooden ladder leads us to a cozy mezzanine with a double mattress. This bedroom is equipped with flat screen TV and dvd player.
A blue bathroom with shower serves this floor.
On the basement there is a comfortable bedroom suite that receives natural light from a window and has separate entrance to the courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and clothes dryer A bathroom with shower serves this level.
There is also a second bedroom on this lower floor that receives light from the spa room nest door.
On this lower floor there is also a fantastic spa room with indoor heated Jacuzzi.
The spa room exits to the pool area.
The house has a private courtyard with flowers, private infinity pool, fantastic sea views, a shaded lounge area under a pergola and sun beds. The lounge area is atmospheric especially in the night when it is candle lighted and you enjoy unlimited views from every corner of it. Stairs lead us to a large terrace on the upper floor that is equipped with a lounge area with views. On the back of the house there is a BBQ area, a wooden oven and a large wooden dining table overlooking the old Castle of Akrotiri.

Summary: We are a family of eight, including two small children. The villa was lovely. The town of Akrotiri was the perfect choice. Not far from the major cities but far enough to avoid the hussle and bussle of the crowds. The town still had its own shopping and dining areas that met most of our daily needs.Although our children managed, the property is not ideal for toddlers. Lots of slippery steps and breakable decor.The owner and staff (drivers and housekeeper) were delightful. Highly recommend this villa.

Summary: The home was as advertised. Beautiful home, lots of room to spread out and enjoy yourselves. Nikos was incredible, stocked with drinks and some fruit and very helpful so we knew how to operate everything. We loved every minute of our stay in Santorini and this Villa made it perfect.

Summary: We loved the villa and wish we could have stayed another week.There is not a better pool and expansive ocean view to be found on the island of Santorini and it ranks with any any spot in the world in its setting. The villa is very peaceful and in a quieter and less crowded part of the island away from the busier side of the island and main tourist attractions. My daughter and family are very active, but my wife and I loved to relax and enjoy the villa , its spectacular and expansive view of the Santorini bay and its cooling breezes. The breezes make this one of the cooler spots on the island and evenings were delightfully cool. We never tired of the setting or watching the cruise ships and sailboats come and go in the beautiful Mediterranean blue water. The villa itself we found charming and authentic and very solidly built perched up the cliff. Nikko is a wonderful host and will take care of your needs. We hope to return one day !

Summary: On Santorini for family vacation. We chose this property for the pool and multiple rooms to accommodate our group. The house was lovely, clean, had good beds, hot water, a working washing machine, working air conditioners in each room, a great outdoor living space, Netflix (that was an unanticipated plus), and wifi that worked. The host met us at the house and was helpful and thorough at check in. The only thing we were surprised about was the pool backs up to a fairly busy road, so it's noisy with traffic during the day when you're using the outdoor area, and traffic at night can be noisy. This didn't minimize our happiness with the property, but just be aware if you're a light sleeper or looking for absolute quiet this may not be your spot.

Summary: Our family spent 3 incredible days at this lovely villa, and celebrated our daughter’s engagement. When we walked in the door, we were greeted with beautiful flowers and congratulations decorations. The host, Alexandros, is amazing with connections and recommendations and can put you in touch with florists, transportation, and a very talented chef. You’ll be surprised at the spacious beauty of this villas with the most lovely views in the island. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Our family of 7 stayed a week in Akrotiri at Villa Mikela. The property was attractive, very clean, good amenities and a wonderful salt water pool with an awesome deck where we enjoyed relaxing after our sightseeing. Couldn’t have had a better experience and the owner as well as the property agent were charming and helpful.

Summary: We could not have asked for anything more... perfect location, spectacular views, and a villa that met all of our needs. We also loved the fact the village of Akrotiri was less than a 5-minute walk from the villa... restaurants, markets, stores, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn Lela came every day to ensure the villa was clean. Mikaela Villa is the perfect place to stay in Santorini and it comes with our highest recommendation. Enjoy your stay... we know we did.
