Negative: They charged me a full day for bike renting although I gave it back after 6hours because of big rain and big wind Multiple holes in the door room

Positive: It was so good food over there really like especially soup ! And the morning coffee with a view

Negative: The way between reception/ main road and a rooms is terrible it is honestly like in horror movie- everything crashed and looks so scary- but at least the room and places where are you staying are nice just the way is creepy

Positive: Nice rooms with lake view. We also used the common area a lot. Hot water was definitely a plus!

Negative: The staff isn’t welcoming at all. To be fair they are always available and they respond to queries, but they are mostly silent and don’t like to interact with guests. Also, the access to the rooms is a bit weird, with about 50 steps through a complex that seem still under construction.

Summary: Good value for money.

Positive: Location was ok, close by some restaurants. Balcony was nice and had a decent view of the Lake. Restaurant seemed nice, though we didn't eat there. Staff were nice enough just seemed tired.

Negative: You get what you pay for. Room had no fan or AC. No mosquito net. Furniture was falling apart, and room was dingey. It's not the cleanest place, but not the dirtiest either.

Positive: Great location! The lake is just in front of rooms for a swim morning and afternoon. We rented motorbikes from the hotel to go round Samosir island.

Negative: The person running the place hardly looked up from his phone when talking to us. Bed are very uncomfortable and rooms and bathrooms could be cleaner.

Positive: The staff and breakfast are lovely! We had breakfast here a lot. The staff are kind and will always help you out. Being on the lake is an added bonus!

Negative: Our room wasn’t the nicest. It is very run down, and dirty. The sink and shower drain where covered in hair. The felling was mouldy. The bed was very old and the other furniture was falling apart. It definitely needs lick of pain! It is a very run down hotel in general.

Positive: The view from the room and balcony is really nice! They have scooter rent for 100k per 12hours.

Negative: I booked a twin room, but when we got here in the middle of the night, they gave us a double bed and said they are fully booked. Next day we changed to a bigger room where is two beds- needed to pay more for this room. Annoying, but its still one of the cheapest accommodations here with a lake view. The walls are paper. All sounds from neighbours can be heard like they would be on the same room with you. Local neighbours in the next room didnt care its 7am and talked very loudly on the terrace. One worker is kicking the dog who lives here. Breakfast was not that good. Cockroaches on the room and toilet smells so bad.

Positive: Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, warm shower, Western toilet and spacy room and bathroom.. I loved the view from the balcony directly onto tue lake.
