Positive: Amazing location, the view from the terrace at the restaurant is stunning. We had our 2 rooms 3 meters away from the lake. The children loved swimming and fighting, right outside the door of our rooms. Hot water and very clean. The food was very good too. We had breakfast every morning and few meals there over our stay, never disappointed. The staff is lovely, friendly and trying everything to make our stay special. The owner even took us on a few hours boat trip for a fraction of the cost of proper companies. We went kayaking from a 5 min walk place, for a very reasonable price. There's the possibility of jet skiing from a bit more far away, for a less reasonable price. The laundry place in front of the accommodation is great too. Amazing service and very quick. They rent motorbikes or can find a car for guests. The ferry picked us up right from outside our room's door. We stayed 3 nights and I would not stay any less. Really good value for money.

Negative: The bathrooms are a bit dated, but perfectly functioning. With a newer bathroom I would expect to pay more, so perfect for me like it is now!

Summary: A place to come back. Beyond expectations!

Positive: Great location! Tuk tuk is chill and the people are beautiful. Reggae guesthouse is probably the best spot to stay on the lake- we loved it and extended our stay a few times 😅

Positive: Amazing location our room was right on the lake to get straight in! The room is basic but clean, comfortable and a hot shower. Staff were really helpful booking our onward transfer! Amazing value for money

Negative: Jet skis and water sports started at 6:30am from the rooms around us. Maybe limiting self brought with karaoke after 11pm and before 7am would be nice.

Positive: Wonderful location, great view right on the lakeside. The room is basic but was a good base to explore the island.

Negative: The peace was constantly disturbed by jet skis rushing by, literally every 5 minutes. Not the accommodations fault, but it is annoying and ruins an otherwise tranquil location.

Positive: The fact that the ferry stops to let you off and picks you up is great

Negative: For me it was difficult that I had to climb so many uneven stairs to get to the street level. I think this should be noted as many people would struggle on the stairs especially at night.

Summary: The stay was overall good. Tuk Tuk is definitely worth visiting. The area is very peaceful and relaxing.

Positive: The major plus point for me about Reggae Guesthouse is the fact that you can walk out of your room and straight in to the lake. This was lovely. I don't know if you can do that elsewhere. View is great, so sitting around on the bench doing nothing was lovely.

Negative: Being offered stuff that I have no interest in.
