Positive: The place is unique. It is dedicated for cyclist! Room is very clean. Staff is polite and responsive. Free parking for those who drive. Breakfast has a good range. I stayed in a room with balcony to enjoy the full view of the velodrome.

Negative: Room is abit to small 😀 but I suppose that it is considered normal in Japan.

Positive: Very interesting spot! As people who aren’t into cycling it was a fun choice! The staff and facilities are lovely - and the view of the track and out to the sea was pretty awesome. The hotel offers $$ for your taxi to them, and also has shuttle busses to the station. We hired bikes which was great!

Negative: A bit out of town - the 15 minute walk from the station is fine, but it was super hot when we did it so wouldn’t recommend. Room was small, but to be expected.

Summary: Hire a bike and avoid the hike!
