Positive: The bikes and the garden were definitely a big plus . Very nice reliable hosts met us and returned us to the train in Uno

Negative: Large place . It was very cold and not so cosy , was in January that we stayed . Any other season would be wonderful

Summary: Grateful for an authentic Japanese home experience, some tea and coffee would have been a nice welcoming touch .

Positive: Loved the space and the location, the free bikes were great, the information provided was great.

Negative: There were no chopsticks to be found, which we found a bit odd, no rice cooker or electric kettle. We made do with the small old fashioned kettle provided, bought chop sticks and microwaved our rice, The shower was odd, since you could only adjust the temperature outside of the shower, but again: we made do.

Summary: Absolutely loved it, aside from some inconveniences regarding cooking.

Positive: The house is GORGEOUS!! it has anything you could need for a comfortable stay, it very very well kept and if you’re looking for the traditional japanese house experience this might be the perfect accommodation for that.

Negative: It is a bit farther away from the station than I anticipated (and Uno doesn’t have that much public transportation as it’s a very small town) but the owner was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the station when we stayed there!

Summary: The perfect place to slow down from the city hustle and to find peace right next to the sea

Positive: This is old Japanese house with a tatami room. We loved tatami and dining room with unique set of tableware. Hosts were very nice, offering to pick us up from and drop us to Uno Port. Also, there are bicycles that we could borrow. Quite a unique stay, our daughter loves sleeping on futon bed.

Negative: Dining room and kitchen faces the public road instead of garden. It would be nice if the green wall was extended to provide a bit of privacy for the dinning room, kitchen and tatami room.

Summary: Amazing experience of traditional Japanese stay, with very nice hosts. This is a place to relax.
