Summary: The property owner was trying, the place was clean and well stocked, but old and dated. No AC, so more fans would have been nice. The property “fencing” will not hold a dog as it’s animal/cattle fencing. The basement, with the majority of bedrooms, is not finished space. Also, the home is located on a busy highway. Scenic if you like the desert as it’s on the dry side of Hesperus. BBQ had no coals or lighter fluid. It is a pretty drive into Durango which is 28 miles away and within 18 minutes of Kennebec Cafe which is amazing for dinner.

Summary: My family and I felt so comfortable in this cute house. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet home away from home. The house was spotless, which I believe reflects the desire to please guests. They provided a coffee bar, candy treats, dog necessities, a kitchen stocked with all the tools to make yummy home cooked meals. While we don’t have young kiddos, there were thoughtful amenities for all ages. I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely family and the care we felt while staying in this home. I highly recommend checking out this Hesperus home.

Summary: Was a great stay for my family and dogs! I loved that Elena and Robert were so accommodating for my dogs! They made sure there was leashes and chains set up, water and food and a big yard to play in! The house is great had everything I needed for my week vacation to Durango!
