Summary: I really wanted to like this stay, but I just couldn’t do it. My room had no heat, and it was very cold. There is no staff on site. I did speak with someone who was very pleasant the first morning of my stay, but I never heard back. There was a standalone space heater, and that helped a bit, but in general, the room was clean but cold and uncomfortable. There were detailed instructions on how to operate the heat posted on the wall of the room, and I followed them explicitly and tried to get the heat running multiple times but had no success. Perhaps it was operator error. Also, to get warm or hot water in the bathroom, I had to leave the faucet running for more than five minutes. (I actually timed it.). Location was great. Room was spacious. I would save this spot for the summer.

Summary: The room was clean and amenities were excellent. We felt right at home and had everything that we needed. We would not hesitate to stay at Sandy Neck in the future...an excellent motel for a reasonable price. We highly recommend it!

Summary: Property was beautiful. The stay was good. Rooms were clean and cute. Had a small issue with the door lock but staff was easily reachable and quick to resolve. Great place to stay if you don't mind the motel atmosphere and no frills.

Summary: According to policies emailed before the stay there would be clean towels and housekeeping every third day of the trip, this did not happen. We had to buy extra towels, dispose of our own garbage, and buy toilet paper. The toilet seat was not stable and slipped around constantly.
