Summary: What a stunning place to stop... Beautiful beach front room with private patio are. Room was very large and loved the bathroom overlooking a small private planted courtyard. the view across the lake from the pool is amazing and a great place to relax. food was very good and the spa massage was also very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. we had the inclusive package which was amazing value for what we paid

Summary: We stayed here for two nights and wish we’d had a third! We were so glad we picked to stay here - the setting is beautiful and it was great to get a better feel of the countryside of Laos rather than just the cities. Perfect place to chill. If your main reason for going to the area is to do activities in vang vieng I would stay in the city itself as it is quite a long taxi drive (about 40 mins) but if you want a relax and occasional activity in Vang Vieng then this is perfect. Staff were all lovely, in particular the operations manager was so helpful and sorted any issues we had straight away. Good massage and food was good and reasonably priced for a hotel. We rented a kayak (not expensive) on the lake which was also really nice to do. Maybe wear a flip flop for arrival if it’s just been rainy season!

Summary: Special spot. We changed our plans and left Vientiane a day early, got a rental pick up truck and drove to Nam Ngum lake. Best. Decision. Ever. The area is gorgeous and natural. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are individual bungalows with private porches. We were on honeymoon and the management went out of their way to help us celebrate by giving us a complementary drink and a room upgrade. The view from the rooms is extraordinary -especially at sunset. The restaurant was very good. Floating swimming pool was really awesome. Do yourself the favor and book for a few nights at the Sanctuary, we wished we could have stayed longer!

Summary: Likely the best place to stay in the area and would stay again. Only critique was smell in the bathroom/shower room. If the fans were off there was a residual smell from the sceptic tank. Not much they could do about it though and with the fans on it was manageable. The room was clean, staff was very pleasant and helpful and we plan to return.

Summary: The staff was very helpful and friendly all the time ! The hotel is around 20min from the city center by car but the hotel has free shuttle twice a day . The rooms are very clean and big. There are many activities to do : kayak, boats, swimming pool in the river, etc. The hotel also helps you to book the best tours and transport to everything . The food is also nice at the hotel (fried fish with traditional sauce is the best) and if you prefer “regular” food there are good hamburgers and nuggets. In general it was an excellent experience !

Summary: Good but not much to do around the resort. The pool was too cold to swim in. The rooms were nice but definitely need to put in shelving so that all your luggage is not all over the floor

Summary: The resort is far from vang vieng city center about 25 kilometers. It means this is a good place for relaxation. The view is very beautifull and the resort located between lakes. Room decoration is very nice and u can see the river when u sleeping on the bed from your room, good smell is everywhere, even toilet. There is a very good resturant with delicies meals and perfect breakfast. rasturant has been managed by a belgium young cheff, my wife and I want to thank the cheff. You can find some activities like jeteski, kayaking,atc. More over, there is a swiming pool that sorunded by lake, this pool is not very big but the view is very nice.we enjoyed a lot from our stay in this resort and I think this resort is one of the best in vang vieng. If we come back to vang vieng in future, certainly we stay in this hotel again. Thank you very much from the kind and friendly staff.

Summary: Extraordinary stay : full equiped design boutique villas with views on the lake. kayak on the site for a very low rental rate. Fancy pool and helful staff. They do their best to accomodate you in this remote location away from all the noise from the Vang Vieng loud crew. 15 km away from it all. La paix et la tranquilité.
