Summary: House was great, pool was nice just beware of walk to the beach. The pictures make it look closer however the area has built up around the house and with little children it was channeling but not that far.

Summary: We absolutely loved the quietness and family atmosphere of Holden Beach. Our beach house was very comfortable for a large group and fairly close to the beach. We loved having 2 fridges in the house and a backyard pool. We are already talking about another trip back to Holden Beach next year.

Summary: We had three families come together for the week at this property and it was perfect. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the pool and it was an easy walk to the beach, even with 6 toddlers.

Summary: The location of this house was great. It was only a short walk to the beach and you can see a bit of the ocean from the top deck. The house itself was mostly what we expected from the pictures but it wasn't very clean. As soon as I walked in I could smell a wet dog smell. There was dog hair rolling around the floor when the AC popped on and all over the living room furniture. Also, the stove in the kitchen had tomato sauce splattered on it, the comforter in one of the bedrooms had been thoroughly used by a previous guest, and a bunch of lightbulbs were burnt out. I left a message for the management company but never heard back. The lack of cleanliness didn't ruin our stay. The house accommodated us well and the heated pool was great!

Summary: Loved the openness of the top floor (living and dining area, kitchen). Great decks that looked out toward the ocean. Pool was excellent...large, great deck amenities (hammock, cozy seating, great shower). Would love to stay here again. The only drawback isn't the house's fault. The walk to the beach from this property is convoluted. Not too, too far, but just enough to be annoying. Again...not the house's fault. Just sharing more as an FYI to renters. The house is still worth the stay!
