Positive: Bernie is one of those amazing people who has a gift for providing hospitality! She and her partner have created a peaceful, beautiful spot for guests and you can tell the moment you meet her that she deeply enjoys what she does. The bedroom and front kitchen/dining/visiting room that is open for all guests to use are filled with lots of thoughtful and homey touches, from the decorations to providing custom breakfast ingredients for a fry-up to leaving a folding table and mini fridge with snacks and tea and beverages in your room along with a tv with subscription services to watch a series or movie in bed. She gave me really helpful recommendations for my explorations in the area, including taking a walk down to the lake (like a three minute walk! Very close) to see the sunset (there is also a pub/restaurant and a sauna/cafe very close to the house). I hope to come back soon to spend more time in this beautiful spot and to enjoy Bernie's hospitality again!
