If you are looking to get away from the bustle of everyday life and hear birds singing when you awake, then this may be the perfect place for you. Despite its abundance of outdoor activities such as hiking, sailing, biking or fishing, the property is only located about 8 Kilometers from shopping.

The home sleeps comfortably up to 6 people in 3 total bedrooms. An additional air mattress is available upon request. The master bed room has a European king bed, private bathroom with shower and bathtub. The second bedroom has a European Queen. The third bedroom, known as the kids room, can sleep up to 2 people in individual beds. All bedrooms overlook the lake.

A large fireplace is the center-piece of the living room. Towering almost 2 meters high (6+ ft), it provides ample ambiance for a relaxed evening by the fire. In the daylight hours, over-sized windows look out onto stunning views of Lough Derg, where you can often watch swans and sailboats float by. The sturdy dining room table comfortably seats eight people. A full kitchen with two sinks, ceramic cook top, oven, microwave, etc provides all of the cooking amenities a person would want. A separate laundry room has a 5 kg washing machine and 7 kg dryer, both upgraded in 2018. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a common bathroom with shower. The Master Bedroom has its own Master Bath. A separate toilet is located at the opposite end of the home.

If you have kids – We recommend bringing good walking shoes. At dusk and dawn, it is not unusual to see a Fox or Mink on our property. You may also want to consider renting bikes or enrolling them in one of the sailing courses at the Shannon Sailing Club. See Resources page for links. Do any of these things, and find yourself at peace by 8 pm, for they will be dead asleep, exhausted from an event-filled day.
