Positive: Righ on the beach. Loved sitting on the beach beds and immense in the evening sea breeze. The pool was very good also. Vet friendly staff.

Negative: The SPA. It doesnt qualify to be a SPA. It just a massage bed. No essence in the rooms. Right above restaurant. One can hear all the noises from outside. It really needs an upgrade

Positive: Our stay was wonderful. Amina at the reception was amazing and extremely helpful, and all the staff were equally kind and welcoming. The restaurant team also stood out with their friendliness, and overall the service made us feel very well cared for.

Negative: This was not the hotel’s fault, but apparently some other guests preferred to take naps in the afternoon and thought that my wife, my friends, and I were being too loud. We felt that in a resort in paradise people should relax and enjoy, not complain. Again, this is not something against the Mayai Ocean Resort, which was excellent.

Summary: A beautiful resort in paradise with amazing staff, great service, and unforgettable memories.

Positive: Great position on the beach. Very helpful staff who went out of their way to make the stay so enjoyable. A really good beach and in walking distance of Paje.

Negative: There is very little to dislike.

Positive: I liked the beach being right there and the staff are very friendly. Also we were very surprised by the complimentary water bottles and the nice breakfast.

Negative: Here are things that could be improved: - bees at breakfast, please do something about it because it's a really annoying thing to deal with while trying to eat with a toddler in the morning; - the food, some ingredients didn't feel fresh like the prawns (clearly frozen) or the octopus that was rubbery; Also price wise, it could be more affordable, we've been to higher rated resorts in Zanzibar that would charge the same as you and we'd be better served.
