Positive: The rooms are clean, wifi and A/C worked well (very important to me). The staff are very friendly.

Negative: Location is a bit further out than I'd prefer but nothing egregious. The breakfast is a bit bland, could use improvement.

Positive: The room had a nice view and was big. Overall very clean and modern. Option to rent motorcycle without giving passport as deposit

Negative: Not enough hot water to shower with more than 1 person, let alone fill the bathtub (we changed rooms and in both rooms this was a problem). Hotel staff was friendly but lacked hospitality skills. Often small things went wrong: no towel in bathroom, key not working, small miscommunications, etc. The lobby closes at 10pm, after which the guard sleeps on the floor there. We did not know about this, and felt extremely uncomfortable when walking into the lobby and finding someone on the floor there who does not speak english.

Positive: The hotel is set back from the busy road & is quiet. A short walk to the centre of town. The room (family room) was spacious & we brought in the verandah chairs to sit on. It’s not a resort, despite the name.

Negative: We spent 2 nights. Breakfast is supposed to start at 8.00am. The a la carte menu has only a handful of options, it took about 45 minutes to come out even though we ordered at the kitchen right on 8am as we were being picked up for a tour & there were no other guests at the time. The next day, they insisted on taking the order for all 3 of us, only 2 of us were at the table. Only one pot of coffee is made for the morning, if you come late they just say it’s finished. Definitely don’t stay here for the breakfast. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom when we arrived & it lingered for over a day - we ran the bathroom fan, left the bathroom door open with the air con on nothing seemed to work.

Positive: The room we got was really big and beds were huge and comfortable, you can really take a good rest there and there was plenty of space for everything. Bathroom was also big and clean, with a bath next to the window. Balcony was nice and on a sunny day you can enjoy the mountain view from there.

Negative: Just make sure you don't make your choice solely based on the bath with a mountain view. Yes, it looks perfect for Instagram, but in the evening you obviously won't see any mountains and, because of the way bungalows were designed, your neighbours can perfectly see you taking a bath from their balcony - unless you lower the curtains (then again, no mountain view). Also, while the staff was in general very helpful and friendly, there were some awkward moments. For example when we asked if we can have a coffee during our breakfast we heard that we can go and do the instant one ourselves in our rooms. Only when I said: "But hey, you've got this cool, Italian coffee machine there" they said OK and someone actually came and did the coffee. The place in general has really great potential but on many ocassions we had a feeling that while on the outside things look great there, when you come closer it turns out it misses quality.
