Positive: One of my favorite places I’ve stayed in Central America. Mardonio is a great host and goes out of his way to be helpful if needed. His place is just off the main road of Balgüe where you can find stores and restaurants, not far either from the hostels that host the nightlife if you have a means of transportation. Sleeping to the sound of the waves or the rain and waking up to that view is unbeatable, and the bed was very comfortable. Shower had hot water which is a luxury in itself and the WiFi was good

Positive: The owner and staff were great! The rooms were large and it was nice to have a kitchen. Fantastic view being right on the water and the sound of the waves was wonderful.

Positive: For the price paid this was excellent accommodation. The owner is super helpful and gave us lots of tips and helped organise a scooter for us. He went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Woul recommend staying here - it’s budget friendly and has everything you need.

Positive: Good location on the laguna with hammocks on the deck. Mosquito net is a must at this property. The property was clean. The owner is super lovely and helpful with anything you may need.
Negative: Very run down, poor and old kitchen facilities. The room is not fully closed with tin roof so animals can get in easily. The property and its facilities does not appropriately reflect the price paid per night.

Positive: The property offers an incredible sunset view right from its backyard—truly a highlight of the stay. The owner is warm, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. He arranged a fantastic taxi driver (Delsi Moto) for a full-day island tour, which turned out to be a great experience. Highly recommended.
Negative: The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of dishes, but it could benefit from a few more ceramic bowls. With nearly 10 guests sharing the space, having only two becomes limiting—especially since some are often used for storing leftovers in the refrigerator.
