Positive: La Bambouseraie is dreamy! We had the best couple of days here exploring Ometepe - hiking and ATVing around the island. The cabins were beautiful and immersed in nature. The property grounds were excellent, with lots to explore and wildlife everywhere. Overall we had a really lovely time here and would 100% recommend!
Negative: Food was really yummy but I would say a little overpriced and small portions. Breakfast ran on a little token system which was good but while we were there they had run out of a lot of things which was annoying. We rented an ATV from the hotel which was super convenient and safe. It was $15 more than the usual price on the island which we did think was a little steep but it was so convenient to have it be delivered to and picked up from the hotel.
Summary: Beautiful cabins in an ideal location for exploring the island!

Positive: if you love being in nature go stay at one of the tree houses. Beautiful scenery, animals and wildlife. It's also a very beautiful drive and nicer part of the island to get to. They have a lovely restaurant on site and can organise guides for you if you need them. one of my favourite places to stay in years.
