Negative: There are electric fences with no warning signs and no direct route going to Slane Castle. You need to go back to the main road by car or walk going to Castle if you need to explore around the Castle.

Positive: The location was stunning, the Shepherds huts were well spaced out so you felt you had some privacy

Negative: I locked myself out of the yurt at 4 am whilst making a visit to the toilet block 😔 there was nobody on site to let me back in as my phone was inside the yurt that had a Yale lock

Positive: A gorgeous farm / grounds to hike and explore or sit back, relax and enjoy nature from your accommodation. La shack offers everything you would need for a country style kitchen, just pop to the garage for grocery’s or bring some from home to cook a nice diner or BBQ. A gorgeous break away from all the hustle and bustle. Plenty to do in the area or travel into Drogheda city centre for shopping centre, cinema, water park ect, 20 or so minutes away.
