Summary: The booking and check in process was easy, thanks to the hosts from Sunny Day vacation rentals, Jacqueline and David. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and natural beauty! There wasn't anything lacking that was promised in the rental description, and we would definitely recommend this place to others. Though we went in the summer, I strongly agree with the 4 wheel drive recommendations for accessing the cabin in the winter!

Summary: Nicely appointed new cabin. It is by a road, but down the hill, so it is not too noticable. Great views and all the necessities were provided. Watching the hummingbirds was a blast.

Summary: We stayed two nights in the summer. The property is nestled about 50 feet from the main road and about 20 minutes from Salida. There are numerous decks and plenty of seating and bedding for 8-10. The couch folds out into a bed as well. Shower pressure and water temps are amazing. There are some things I'd like to see before considering it again including screens in the windows, a welcome message through the VRBO app (you get a separate email from the property (Roaring River Mtn Lodge), and a bluetooth sound bar or speaker. Bonus ask: add/improve the outdoor furniture and put the gas fire back behind the cabin (its a bit tight on the front deck) All around we loved the experience and would consider booking again.

Summary: Had a great stay here. The house and accommodations were excellent. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, great for walks. Lot's of stuff nearby too. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Things didn’t go as planned but the property manager was very communicative & did everything in their power to help us out. Highly recommend renting with them. We’ll definitely be back to try this again.

Summary: We experienced a wonderful stay with our 3 adult children! It was perfectly located for our Christmas ski trip, just minutes from Monarch. Although the cabin is very close to the highway, it’s very quiet and we felt isolated. The views were amazing throughout every room of the cabin. We especially enjoyed the morning sunrise! The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy for cooking our meals. Appliances were really nice! The living area opens to the kitchen/dining and provides plenty of comfortable seating for lounging and playing games. They aren’t kidding about the driveway! Although it had been plowed and snow wasn’t deep, it took chains on our 4x4 F150 to make it up. Our kid’s 2 Subarus made it up with no problem. The manager was great to work with and very helpful. We’ll definitely return!
