Summary: No breakfast or food at this time of the year, pool was looking pretty bad, and no hot tubs. This place is like stepping back in time in some good ways and others not so good. Bed was very comfortable room was clean, we had a good night sleep. Some things that are off are no A/C in the room, not like broken just no A/C. We were on the mountain side so we had a balcony so sleep with the door open and it is nice and cool, downside to that it is a shared balcony with the entire floor so someone can walk right past your room. No soap or shower products so bring your own, the restaurant bar and coffee shop are all closed down which makes a food run at least 20 minutes away. For some reason, our room had three refrigerators inside of it, but only one was working and the only way to watch TV is to subscribe to all your own channels. This place has a lot of history and seems like it would be an amazing place. If somebody would just put some effort time and money into it. Overall our night was fine. Nothing really to complain about the place just fell short on some of the listed amenities.

Summary: All though the lodge is located in a beautiful location in the mountains outside of salida. The quality of the lodge was terrible. The lodge was run down on the outside and in. No amenities to offer and if there was they were extremely outdated. The safety concerns were the ceiling tiles through out the building looked like they could fall at any moment. The workout area had old machines. The concrete outside the room looking towards the mountains was cracked and looked extremely unstable to stand on. The vending machines looked like they have not been serviced in years. The restaurant was closed due to not enough sufficient air flow due to all the opened windows in the dining area. And no tv at the time because of transitioning to ruko.

Summary: The staff member was helpful and kind, asked to use the restroom while he inspected our room, both toilets were clogged with poop, my son went into the men’s restroom and the urinal had poop in it, the room was big and spacious, there was hair in the shower, it was off season and I think we may have been the only people in the lodge at the time, the floor was dirty, it looked like the popcorn ceiling was falling onto the floor, the bathroom had water damage to the ceiling, and it looked like possible mold growing in the bathroom on the light fixer and tile in the shower, my allergies were terrible and I couldn’t sleep. I did not have an issue with the off season issue with no food, and the staff member was kind

Summary: Bait and switch. Terrible amenities and all guests woke to no running water on the property. No one at the front desk to hep solve our issues on check out. General theme was the owner is not willing to invest in the property. I will be working hotel and hotel.com to get a discount. I would recommend you drive by this place and stay elsewhere.

Summary: We were booked for 3 nights. We left after 1 night. There was no one staffed at the front desk at any time during our time there. We had to use a radio to call for someone to check-in and the maintenance person came up and helped us. Fine and good. But then there was this black soot stuff in the toilet when we arrived. Later, the TV didn't work due to some type of error, and there was no one we could call about it. Cook to order breakfast was advertised, but that was no where to be found the next morning. Access to food is miles away. After deciding to leave, we again used the radio attempting to speak to someone. We tried 3 times over 15 minutes with no response. Eventually, we just dropped the keys in the basket and left. We were very much disappointed! The views were awesome. The stay was not.
