Positive: Ryu is a great host. He is very helpful and kind. I would highly recommand asking him to take you kayaking!

Positive: I stayed in a lovely cabin at Riviera Iya Valley where kayaking courses are held. I also did rafting and canyoning there. The owner and kayaking instructor, Ryu, is incredibly friendly, cool, and professional. Everything was wonderful — the rooms are excellent and well-equipped with everything you need, the breakfast is delicious, and the mountain views are stunning. The location itself is incredibly beautiful, with shops nearby and just a very short distance from Oboke Station. It’s the perfect place for nature lovers who want to enjoy kayaking, rafting, and outdoor adventures.
Negative: Nothing, everything was great!
Summary: This is simply the best place for a nature getaway and enjoying kayaking or rafting — highly recommended!

Positive: Clean place it was nice to wake up in iya valley. Staff was helpful and friendly plus it’s near a huge LAWSON. Convenient to buy food when there aren’t many options in the area.
Negative: Sound proofing could be better. Our room was also by the road side in the mornings there were lots of traffic noise, found it difficult to sleep. They do provide ear plugs though!

Positive: Lovely little home stay in the beautiful Oboke. Room very clean and comfortable, beds were amazing. Fridge in room was handy. Nice kitchen to prepare meals. Bathrooms were clean and good . Great location short walk from train station
Negative: Maybe an additional hob and a larger pot in the kitchen would be a nice bonus, but is not essential
