Positive: The rooms were new and very well equipped. The hotel is located a little bit outside of Banff but there is a regular free shuttle into town. Probably the best hotel gym I have ever seen (though it was not fully completed yet). There is also a very good coffee/breakfast place to pick up snacks for the day on your way out.
Negative: The hotel was partly still under construction. When we arrived there were boxes next to our door of appliances that were being installed in the rroms next to us. The gym, was also not fully operational and the pool was still being built - BUT we had free access to the facilities in another hotel which made up for it.
Summary: We had a great stay and I would come back to this hotel.

Negative: We had breakfast at Parker's Table the morning we left the hotel (Oct. 18, 2026) and it took a very long time for our order to be taken, but then it took a very long time until our breakfast arrived. The server apologized, and our breakfast was free given how long we had to wait, which we appreciated. But the restaurant did not appear to be at full capacity so it was hard to understand why we had such a delay. I ordered something that didn't require any cooking and it took almost an hour to receive it.

Positive: We really lucked out. We booked this after their big remodel and it is absolutely gorgeous. The decor and facilities were fantastic. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The rooms were on one side of the mountain and faced the infinity pool and the mountains so it was such a pretty sight everyday. The staff were wonderful. The spa / bath house was my favorite. It's better than the Fairmont and it's part of the stay! The aurora room was my favorite perk. Don't miss out on the private pod sauna outside past the infinity pool.
Negative: The only thing is there is a north and south building. Most of the amenities are on the south building so if you require assistance for walking, I would suggest you call ahead and ask to be in the south building. For example, my room was on the north side. I had to go up to the 7th floor (their main floor) to walk across to the south side, and then go down to the 3rd floor to use their spa. It's not a big deal for me but just wanted to give a heads up.

Positive: The views!! The staff were extremely courteous and thoughtful.
Negative: I wish the fireplace in the lobby was on in the evenings. My husband and I would come home after dinner and if the fireplace was lit, we would’ve sat down for a cocktail but it never was while we were there.

Positive: I liked the location, the property is beautiful, the staff is great, we also loved that it had a shuttle to help is visit downtown. Will definitely come back.
Negative: The pictures showed a pool, but there is no pool, they are currently making the pool , we saw the workers doing it, the pictures were misleading

Negative: Our friends has a room that was much bigger. Too much closet space in our room, not enough drawers. The bathroom was tooo small. No place to put your toiletries for two people. The toilet paper was disgusting! The food menu in the restaurant was too limited. I had to order a salad and a plain chicken breast from the bar area. For the amount of money that we paid, i would not recommend this hotel for 750.00 a night. I filmed a bug or two on the bathroom floor.
Summary: Too much money for what we got. Not enough choices on the menu's, and very expensive!!
