Positive: The property is set off the beach to the north of the property which overlooks a stunning pool. The property itself is stunning but it has been poorly maintained. There is black algae or mould on the outside of the buildings and internally the property is dirty. The staff was lovely and polite, always trying to be helpful, eg. with our bags, scooter etc.

Negative: Our general consensus is that this property lacks the hospitality and amenities that makes it a 4 star stay. We found consistently that there were issues across the following areas; Helpfulness The property offers laundry, however when we requested to have our things cleaned we were told that they could not help us due to them prioritising their own laundry. This was absolutely absurd to us given that we’re were staying at the property for 5 days. The room The room was very simple and lacking the most basic amenities like fridge and coffee which we found all around the Philippines even in two stars hotels. Water wasn’t refilled daily. There were big cobwebs and lots of dust in every room, despite us asking for daily cleanings. The facilities The daily breakfast is OK for a few days, but with limited options it becomes very boring quickly. The service is very slow too and often the staff got our orders wrong. On numerous occasions we were refused dessert, and quite a few items on the menu were not available. Every single piece of equipment in the gym is extremely rusty and looks unsafe. The owners One of the owners walks around with his top off day and night, we felt that this was a tad unprofessional especially at night when you are having dinner. One night my partner got excited as she thought a stripper had come to the property. The owners don’t check in, or even acknowledge guests, we found it extremely rude and not very hospitable. Location The location is not great, the road is very dangerous leading up to the property. Lots of pot holes and it’s approx 800m to the main road. At night you can barely see where you are going and there are loads of dogs around too. Also it’s not accurately marked on Google maps so be prepared for a long walk on the beach/in the water to get to the hotel.

Positive: To start I stayed in many many hotels and never had a owner help me with my luggage until now! The owners were so helpful and kind! You can see from how the staff helps the customer that its owners are great people to work for! There are some rules and they are totally reasonable for the situation we had no problem as there are rules for a reason. We can't say enough about the staff they are so friendly and helpful with anything you need! They go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. We had a nice quiet time its a great place don't hesitate to stay here and enjoy all there hospitality. I want to add the rooms were super clean really nice hot water and water pressure plus the aircon was super cold!

Negative: Everything was quite nice!

Positive: What a great location, right on the sandy beach, Quiet, Safe, no dogs barking, no Kareoke, no smoke, no noisy neighbors. During our stay the Guests were mainly Couples & were all very respectful. We enjoyed our time here so much we extended and stayed for 11 Days. The Staff were Beautiful, Kind and Sweet, We really enjoyed the qaulity Food (Thank you to the Cooks & waitstaff) & we thank all of the Staff for their wonderful Hospitality. We were privileged to be able to meet the Owners and we thank them for making is feel so welcome and congratulate them on such a Great Business.

Negative: We were very sad to leave this little Oasis.

Positive: The breakfast was okay, the staffs were very welcoming and friendly

Negative: The on-site manager was a bit rude, he didn’t even say hi in the morning, and they told me that I can’t have food or drinks in the room which I personally found a bit ridiculous for the amount of money I have paid. The resort is quite close to the pier, but they have no signs I had a very hard time to find where the resort is esp in the evening.

Positive: The view from our balcony is exceptional. The place is super clean, nice, and comfortable bed. The staff and owner are very accommodating. What we like best is the beach away from the crowded places.
