Positive: it was absolutely stunning. It was everything and more from the beautiful nature views and sounds to the outside bath looking out onto the jungle. This hidden gem was a once in a lifetime experience! We loved the seating area out the back where we had our coffee ( that was provided ) and some breakfast. We miss it already!!!

Negative: it’s not that we didn’t like this but I think it’s worth noting that you are around a 20 minute moped ride away from all the restaurants and to get to the property a moped is kinda essential - which the host kindly arranged for us! Also another thing to note is that a gecko leaves a poop at the end of your bed around 3 times a day ( again, can’t be helped - you’re in the jungle!! )

Summary: Perfect tranquil unique stay, would return in a heartbeat!!!

Positive: The mother tree. The architecture and books. The isolation and sounds of nature, breeze, birds, bats, insects and dense jungle foliage. Night is best.

Negative: If anything, lack of a bird book. Tuktuk travel seems a bit high to and from as it doesn’t take long to get up hill. Scooter helps greatly if wanting to explore or get Elma’s traditional massage.

Summary: Jungle Delight for rejuvenation.

Positive: Wonderful setting in the forest and it’s a beautifully designed house.

Negative: The front door lock was very temperamental and could be very difficult to open and close. We could have done with a frying pan - only one pot for cooking.

Positive: Beautiful location and unique experience! Communication with the host was good!

Negative: Bathroom was not really clean (lot of bugs and poop of ?) and the shower was not working properly. Important information was missing in the advertisement in my opinion: electricity could be off for a long time which ment absolutely no connection since there is no connection and the wifi goes through electricity and no working fan during the night since), there is noting except water available (like no coffee, tea, etc.), it is not bug free inside (off course, it is a house in the middle of the jungle but there were big spiders, gekko’s and a lot of ants in the house even when everything was closed all night. And lastly, check-in and check-out were weirdly organized and the rental scooter was nearly out of gas.

Positive: A spectacular house. Beautiful architecture that both blends and stands out in an already impressive decor. The landscape, sound of nature, the peace and beauty both in and out. Just a gem. Great value for price. Ideal for a little getaway or work (yes there is wifi connection in the forest thanks to starlink) makes this place a perfect spot. Truly amazing architects home. The host… kind and warm. Takes great care and brings great attention to guests comfort. Belle rencontre ! I also recommend watching a little sunset, drinking a cold beer (or two), perhaps a little meal at the Canopée Restaurant not too far away. The view and sunset are both breathtaking.

Summary: A beautiful experience in a breathtaking home. I recommend 100 times over.
