Summary: We had a quick weekend away as a couple and enjoyed the Residence Inn Charlotte City Center greatly! It was in the perfect location, clean and comfortable, and easy to navigate (for a in-city hotel). The room was very spacious and well equipped with beautiful views. But for us it was the staff that set this place apart. Our pre-registration requests were honored without having to bring them up again. They were always helpful with answers to questions, greeting us, and smiling. Even when we returned to the room late on July 4 and found leak in the ceiling, the staff moved us within 10 minutes of phoning apologetically to an upgraded room. When we return to CLT we will seek out this property again.

Summary: I felt very welcome and comfortable. Eric was wonderful in assisting me when I needed early check in. The only negative was the breakfast but no big deal my hotel breakfast expectations are usually low Worth the extra money to stay somewhere like this that is really nice feels safe.
