Positive: The location in Ferndale is great. You are in walking distance to everything you could need. Parking is great, you get a spot right in front of your room.

Negative: The provided breakfast isn’t really breakfast. It was a croissant and some snacks. Nice, but not a breakfast. Unfortunately when we booked, we were under the impression the room had a kitchen and there was no kitchen. Just a microwave and mini fridge. Not a great surprise. Lastly the room had a really musty smell, as if the last guest was a 90 year old that emptied a bottle of perfume. We are pretty low maintenance people, we were happy that is was clean but it definitely should have been a cheaper stay for what it was.

Summary: Friendly staff, a snack box..not breakfast, musty room, should be a bit cheaper than it is.

Positive: The room wasn't fancy but it was well-equipped and clean. The bed was comfortable, wifi worked well and the location at the top of Ferndale's Main Street is convenient. We could park right outside after checking in at the nearby Victorian Inn where we had a friendly welcome.

Negative: Breakfast is included but is a 'to go' bag amd not available until 8.00 AM. We didn’t bother with it so I can't comment on the quality. Instead we went to the Mind's Eye cafe a block away which I CAN recommend!

Positive: The motel is located right off the main street of Ferndale, which made it easy to walk around. I felt very safe in the room and while walking around the town. The bed was comfortable and it was a big room.

Negative: The facilities are a bit dated.
