This casita is located in a quiet neighborhood just 3 miles from Kanab city center. It has a mini kitchen with ample counter space. The kitchen also includes a mini-fridge, two burner stove, toaster oven, microwave and coffee maker. The casita has one king size bed. It has an outdoor table and seating at the kitchen counter. There is also a walk-in-closet with plenty of storage space. The casita is on the lower level of the home of the owners and has its own entrance.
The owners live upstairs and although they are very respectful of their guests, footsteps are audible. They have two small dogs and you may hear the pitter patter of little feet. The puppies do not bark often but if you hear barking look outside and you may see a herd of deer in the yard!
It is a short walk to dinosaur tracks and hiking trails. Kanab is a central location to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Lake Powell and The Wave. This is a great base camp for folks wanting to get out and explore the area!
There is a doorbell camera at the back door of the house which is near the casita entrance. The camera picks up the driveway and parking area but not the outdoor seating area or any part of the casita.

Summary: If you need a place with a small kitchen to save on meals, this is it. Nothing they have NOT thought of. Unfortunately, for my experiencing Kanab, I ended up sick and spent MOST of the time indoors. I can’t think of another place, I have stayed at, that would have been more accommodating. The “to do” book was amazing. I know I need to return and check out, not only Zion and Bryce, but all that Kanab itself has to offer.

Summary: The apartment was clean, modern and the utilities were very useful! The check in and communication process was made very easy for us and the location was great for our many adventures to Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink sand dunes, and Zion!

Summary: I had a wonderful stay. The hosts went out of their way to check on me and provide an extra patio chair that they saw I needed. I love the beauty of the rocks and cliffs in Kanab and the views from the driveway were so enjoyable. I sat outside with my dad and stepmom who live in Kanab, enjoying the cool evenings and lovely sunsets. It was just perfect for me.

Summary: I don’t normally do reviews, because if not perfect it causes work for someone, but.. since our experience was so great, I have to break my no review policy. The host was very communicative from the start. Walking into the casita, it felt like home away from home. The cleanliness was excellent. We appreciated the great choice of coffee and the little sweet treat. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.
