Positive: The hotel was in a great location and very well designed - lots of attention to detail and beautiful rooms and public spaces. We stayed in a corner room, which made very effective use of the space and was quiet, with a great view of the hotel's main pool, which was a good size and well laid out. We also liked the rooftop pool and the Mexican restaurant attached to it, with great views over the city centre. The service at the hotel was particularly outstanding, and we would like to thank Ryan at the Executive Lounge who really went out of his way to make us feel welcome and make our trip just a little bit easier (we had a very late night flight, and he invited us to come back into the lounge after our day out for a drink before heading to the airport, with the possibility of using the hotel showers and changing rooms to freshen up.) The executive lounge was a really great bonus to have in general, offering a relaxed space to sit and enjoy refreshments from all day, along with a more private breakfast and happy hour. We would absolutely return to the Pullman Hill Street.

Negative: The breakfast in the main restaurant maybe felt a little busy even though we went early.

Summary: A gorgeous stay in beautifully designed surroundings, with delightful service.

Positive: The staff were all very very helpful. The roof garden bar was a pleasant surprise.

Negative: The "public space" was very cramped - the lobby was small enough to begin with, and half of it was walled off when we were looking for a space in which to wait after checking out.

Positive: The pool area was excellent - lots of space and some shade which made swimming and relaxing there a pleasure. The executive lounge is by the pool which is different but not bad. The room was a good size. The shower was excellent. It's very close to a shopping mall with excellent food and easy walk to the MRT. It's in a great location and the fit out is pleasant.

Negative: I didn't like the pillows at all. they hurt my neck and were not at all comfortable. the bed was lovely. I also didn't like that you had to exit the hotel at the back as the street frontage had a separate restaurant so if you wanted to exit to the street you had to walk through the diners which was weird. I also didn't like that the lobby was on a different floor to the exit and that there was no relaxation lounge area for this hotel. It's definitely more of a boutique property rather than a full 5 star hotel.
