Summary: Beautiful home with great view of Heriot Bay. We stayed in same house last year. Tina has made a number of improvements to an already beautiful house. Patio really nice with great view. No laundry or hot tub available due to island water restrictions, but not really an issue. Definitely recommend

Summary: My family enjoyed our stay in Tina’s house. Everything we needed was there, the kitchen was well stocked and all the room were nicely furnished. The view overlooking Heriot Bay was constantly changing, with boats and the ferry coming and going. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: We had a wonderful few days stay in Tina’s house in Herriot Bay as a family of 4 with our 2 young adult children. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with lovely views from the deck out over Herriot Bay. Two of the bedrooms are in the basement which is very nice and cool (if a bit dark) and the third is in the top of the house with a lovely view over the bay. We explored much of the island and did a great circular walk up to south peak Chinese Mountain, and can recommend swimming in Open Bay and at Rebecca Spit. We also drove up to Surge Narrows which was a great drive. Everyone on the island is very friendly and helpful - you can buy all you need in the way of groceries and alcohol at Tru Value Foods just 2 minutes from the house. Be aware that the washing machine is not available for guests - it isn't advertised but I failed to notice this so it could be helpful to state this explicitly - you have to take your laundry out to a nearby pay laundry facility instead. I’d have found it helpful to have a drying rack for swimming things but the balustrade round the deck worked fine instead. There is a hot tub advertised in the house listing but this wasn’t available due to the drought - this didn’t bother us at all as we didn’t want to use it. The kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven etc. When the oven’s gas canister ran out Tina immediately replaced it. Overall we had a lovely stay on a beautiful island. Thank you so much Tina!

Summary: Beautiful home with great location. Water shortage prevented us from using hot tub or laundry facilities. House is walking distance from Heriot Bay restaurants and kayak rentals. Fishing was fantastic this year

Summary: It was comfortable and spacious with a charming view of Heriot Bay harbour and the mountains beyond. Cooking was easy in the well-equipped kitchen with the grocery store nearby and choices of outdoor eating areas. The temperature varies on the three levels so moving to your preferred zone works. The location is central for accessing both North and South Quadra. Many thoughtful touches. Thank you Tina.

Summary: Tina's home was an excellent base for our family to explore Quadra. The views are breathtaking---a different pink sky every night, and unbelievable stars. We were very comfortable, indoors and out. The house is spacious and very well equipped. The basement bedrooms were cool during a heat wave. With a short walk out the side gate and down to the marina/shore, we were in the ocean in about three minutes. Proximity to rock climbing and hiking made this a perfect spot. We look forward to returning!
