Summary: I always love it there, friendly helpful staff, hotel on the water and comfy casual pub with decent food (though the prices, like everywhere have gone up somewhat) what more could you want! Though clean, the rooms are not fancy (no fridge or television) and the stairs might be difficult for some.

Summary: Lovely old inn with beautiful gardens and unbeatable views of Heriot Bay. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable and all we needed after hiking and kayaking.

Summary: Dated and a bit tired, but good sized cabin, clean and functional. Good stocked kitchen and great location within walking distance of Cortes ferry and grocery store/cafe. Like other reviews, yes, mattress is hard and bedroom curtains need to be thick/darker. Off season kitchen closes at 7pm so plan accordingly!

Summary: Very friendly staff always willing to help and go out of their way to do so. Great location by the Cortes ferry and right by the beach. Bit noisy as could hear all neighbours and the allowance of dogs in the room across the hall barking. Would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in hallway where kettle and coffee maker is. Would stay again

Summary: I absolutely loved this little place. The building has tons of old charm. The rooms were super clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was great to deal with from start to finish and the restaurant was cute. I would imagine it’s even better here when they have the large patio open in the summer. When I say the building had charm, it looked like the original slightly slanted floors, windows (maybe) and door locks. It was all awesome. I will be staying here again when I go back.
