Positive: Everything! The staff were just so welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make everything easy. Quia (phonetic cho…. I hope I spelt it correctly was beyond kindness. She even brought me to the gate of old city on her own bike with my luggage as I had strained a muscle. She made great restaurant recommendation too with a discount card. The rest of staff were also just willing and wonderful. It’s in a lovely quiet courtyard and the room was spotless with the best quality bedding and excellent shower Air con was perfect. Location is right on west avenue in centre of ancient city. You could not get better. Breakfast coffee beer all really good

Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like. I loved it

Positive: Centrally located. Excellent friendly staff with communication skills far above Chinese standards. Chao put some fresh air to our staying with sympathy, positivity and helpful information. Even she ran 300 meters along the street when I forgot my phone in the room. Very good breakfast.

Negative: Yes, it's a bit difficult to find. But Hotel staff was waiting for us on the street. Shower sink was not flushing well.

Positive: I had a really lovely stay at this hotel! The property is welcoming, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful from the very first moment, always available without ever being intrusive. My room was bright, spacious, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The location is excellent: easy to get around, close to the main points of interest, and well connected by public transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Positive: It was beyond my expectations. Free room upgrade upon arrival to a really nice and spacious one, free early check-in and late check-out (I arrived at 09:30 am and left at 2:15 pm), very nice staff and a great location on one of the main pedestrian axes in the old town of Pingyao.
