Positive: Spacious room, comfy bed, quaint Japanese inn (ryokan) feel and best of all, a private outdoor bath with natural hotspring drawn from the mountain nearby. Breakfast bento sumptuous. Free shuttle and friendliest staff who advise where to go

Positive: The shuttle service to the town and met station was a life saver considering the location of the hotel is tucked further away.

Negative: The interior of the hotel looks aged. There is a common coffee machine, would be nicer if washer and microwave can be added.

Positive: Hot spring was personal in each room. Staff were very friendly. They had a friendly driver who shuttles you between hotel and XinBeitou. Very helpful.

Negative: Hotel is outdated and needs a good refresher. We had the 3rd floor and there is no elevator but staff were able to move luggage using freight elevator, but be prepared to climb stairs up to room.
