Positive: This is an amazing place! It is built with the volcanic lava of the area and the views of the hostel are incredible, in front of the volcano. The hostel was very good and cleaned, and Jose cooks very good! We made a couple of excursions with Jose, one to the volcano and another to Salinas and the surroundings, and they were very good. We had and a lot of fun and we totally recommend this place. Thank you for everything Jose, we hope to come back sook!!! Arantxa & Andrea

Positive: The place was very comfortable and with everything you need to enjoy some days and chill at the village of Chá das Caldeiras. The guided hike to climb the volcano was also great and a very complete experience overall. Our host, José, was always very kind, helpful and friendly. I totally recommend this place for anyone who wants an authentic getaway to relax and enjoy a few days by the volcano.

Positive: We were very welcomed by Jose who is running his place with pride. He guided us in his friendly way to the top of the volcano and back. He took all the time we needed and was checking everything if we were doing fine. The house is just outside the village, very quiet and great view to the volcano. And he had cold beer. We needed it.
