Positive: Great location, at the foot of the volcano and in the middle of the village. If you choose to eat there, food is really great and you are welcome at the host’s.

Negative: No water AT ALL during our 3 days’ stay. Where you are here to hike, it’s particularly uncomfortable. No WiFi unlike what is written in the description. Cockroaches in the room.

Positive: Comfy room with a private big bathroom for one night. They woke up early just to make us 5:30am breakfast, which cost only €3 each. We checked in earlier because of the ferry delay and left later because there was no transport to come back to the capital. We experienced understanding and welcoming each moment of our stay.

Negative: It would be great to have hot water but I have lived in Cape Verde for more than 2 years, so I know why it’s an issue. That’s why 10/10

Summary: I’ll come back and recommend.

Positive: What a lovely family! Booked it last minute and didn't expect much. But got an excellent place to stay! It is clean and cosy place for very good price. Good location as well. I even had the view to volcano through my window.

Negative: I stayed here only one night. Next time I'll stay longer!
