Positive: We had such a nice stay here, it was a very comfortable and beautiful room that backs onto a lake. Had peacocks and cows in the yard which was cool. Host was very accomodating and helped us with anything we needed, even hailing a bus down for us to get to Kandy! Highly reccomend staying here :)

Positive: Everything. Very nice and helpful person, clean and big rooms, well equiped (just 1 room does not have AC, but with the roof fan it was OK). Nice terraces viewing the trees with a lake behind. Could serve us 4 a nice khottu for dinner, and all that for a very cheap price

Negative: He didn't propose anything to drink (apart from water) before dinner.

Positive: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best hostel in Sri Lanka. 🌿 The location is simply magical: stunning views of a lake with cows passing by—it’s like a postcard! The room is huge, very clean, and beautifully decorated, with a giant window that lets you enjoy the scenery from the bed. The air conditioning works perfectly. Breakfast is delicious, all homemade and typical of the area, and the kitchen in general is amazing. We also tried dinner, and it was excellent. The owner is wonderful, always making sure you have everything you need and making you feel at home from the very first moment. An unforgettable experience—I would come back in a heartbeat!

Positive: Could not say enough good things about this place. The nicest host who will help you arrange anything you would like to do. His brother has a jeep and took us on an elephant safari for way less than booking online. The food is delicious. We ate breakfast and dinner here every night and they accommodated my vegetarian preferences. The lake around the house is amazing to explore we saw so many birds. The mattresses is comfortable and the ac works well. 100000/10 would stay here again and recommend it to any of my family or friends who come to Sri Lanka.

Positive: Stayed end of June, solo traveler from France. The staff were good. Everything was clean. Nice setting. Good to have mosquito net around bed. Spacious. Private. Comfortable bed. I'm not sure if I booked for aircon, but they gave it to me anyway. Breakfast was very nice! - I went for sunrise hikes and came back for it. Lovely to talk to owner. Everything provided as in description.

Negative: Insects, but i spoke with owner and he said he'll take care of it. This also seems to be something unpreventable in most places I have stayed in that are more 'in nature'. Shower a little weak.

Positive: Stay was very clean, safe and quiet place to relax. Early morning peacocks were usual everyday. If your lucky you can see peacock dancing😊 , if more lucky can see elephants during night time in owners paddy land or in lake. I will recommend to hire a bike from the place to Sigiria, travel via jungle to sigiria. It will be more adventures and thrilling while returning from sigiria to room after sunset( darkness + Jungle). Villa owners dinner and breakfast taste was awesome must try during stay. Villa staffs were more friendly, helping and comfortable. They will guide for exploring nearby locations. Actually I planned to stay for 1 day but got extended to 3 days. Overall very happy and satisfied for the stay.

Negative: Please don’t follow Google maps location for searching the villa. Use booking.com location to find the villa. Google maps location is wrong.

Summary: Satisfied and happy. Worth more for the money paid.

Positive: We stayed at this villa on February 12th, 2025, and our experience was exceptional for several reasons. The villa was very clean, and the washroom was excellent. The property boasts stunning natural beauty, with a lagoon, birds, and a lush garden surrounded by trees. Breakfast was superb, with instant cooking and authentic food. We were able to request any dishes we desired. Customer service was outstanding, as the owner personally operated the villa. The compound is secure, and we felt completely safe throughout our stay. I’m looking forward to returning soon and highly recommend this place to everyone.
