Positive: Very nice homestay, calm, clean and spacious, no AC but a fan, it is very close to the beach.

Positive: Place ran by local family so you have home stay atmosphere, for us great. Room on the first floor, separate outside entrance, no one next door, whole terrace for you. Perfect for us. Our child could go freely on the staircase up and down for fun. Breakfast included, not fancy but tasty. Optionally you can buy evening meal also which is very handy especially with small kids and of course tasty . The lady od the house is trying to accomodate your wishes. All very friendly. Wifi sometimes works better sometimes not but we are not here for wifi. The place is just 50-100 m from the beach, which is the jest thing . There ja no hot water only cold shower but who needs hot water in this kind of weather ? For us 10 out of 10

Positive: Location was good, closed to the Beach. Also the food was very good. The owner is very cariing, she Did so much for our friend, who got sick. She was very kind and took care that WE had everything. The big terrace was great. The rooms were clean. The host was very friendly.

Negative: They had a water problem for 3 days 😪.

Positive: A simple,clean little guesthouse 200 metres from the beach and very helpful hostess. The bed was very comfortable and the mosquito net worked well. With the windows open at night and the fan the night temperature was comfortable too. The shower wasn't hot but in the weather it didn't matter. I chose a simple Sri Lankan breakfast of freshly made Hoppers,with a little curry, fresh fruit and a pot of tea. I could have chosen Western instead but enjoyed the Sri Lankan. I would happily stay here again.

Positive: This family is very authentic and take care of you with their heart. They made sure that we had all we needed and even more. Very delicious food was cooked for us and we really felt like home. The house is 100m from the beach and on the balcony you can just sit for hours enjoying the silence and watch the wild birds and monkeys.

Negative: The mosquitos are a problem at night if you want to sleep with open windows for fresh air like we do. There is a mosquito net, but it is just not 100% proof.
